KG is a Timberwolf. If we raise his number to the rafters, then so should be the numbers of Rondo and Ray Allen. They did just as much as KG did to win a ring in 08.

Paul Pierce was a Celtic, he withstood years of terrible teams patiently waiting for his chance to get a ring. His number deserved to be raised to the rafters.

Sorry sir, you completely discredited your understanding of the game when you claimed that Rondo and Allen did as much as KG. They did a lot, but KG's contributions went way beyond points and rebounds and assists.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

You really can’t compare the impact to the organization of KG to Rondo/Allen. You could try to compare their contribution to Banner 17 (you’d be proved wrong, but go ahead and try lol), but the culture and relevancy that KG instilled in this franchise was far and away better than anyone in 20 years.

KG embodied a Celtic in his time here, won a championship, was a perennial all-star, and a fan favorite. Anyone that could be bothered by them wanting to retire his number is irrational and has a stick up their you know what.
