And yet blazers are only 9th seed. Lol this era of Shooting for Nike/Adidas endorsements is terrible. Harden, kyrie, dame are all guilty of it

He is averaging 48.8 points, 10.2 assists and 7.2 rebounds during the streak, becoming the first player in NBA history to average more than 45.0 points and 10.0 assists over a six-game span, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

Lillard’s 293 points are tied for the third-most by any player over a six-game stretch since the 1976-77 season, according to Elias, and his 49 three-pointers are the most over six games in NBA history, surpassing the 46 Stephen Curry made in January of last season. Only James Harden (twice) has had a more prolific six-game scoring burst and only Kobe Bryant (once) has equaled it.

The Blazers just had a terrible start due to injuries tbh. Their record has been quite good recently in the wake of Dame's explosion, they're certainly the team that I expect to snatch the 8th seed in the West this year.

I find this a bit ignorant. Over this stretch the Blazers are 5-1. It's not like he's shooting for stats - he's butchering every defence put in front of him and his team is winning. He's also shooting the ball at a TS% of 74.5, which is frankly insane.

Plus, it's helping them gain on the Grizzlies, which is an obvious win for us

Yup.  Dame doesn't get the recognition he deserves, IMO.

He's shooting them into W's against high quality opponents.  That's not really stat padding selfishness.

I don't think he's forcing anything for endorsements at all. Not his fault he has to carry a bad team.

Same with Bradley Beal. He's averaging 39/game over the last 7, shooting 53%. Is he doing that for endorsements?
