Interesting. I would've thought they'd be more in the market for extra big man insurance.

Is the deadline to sign someone who can then be playoff eligible tomorrow?

No.  Tomorrow is the deadline for players to be waived, but they can sign any time before the end of the regular season.

I don’t know about Otto Porter. I don’t see how he would play. Brissett and Tillman would be ahead of him. I would rather find another Springer type. A prospect who might actually turn into something.

I still would prefer a very large body for Jokic and Embiid (if he plays).  We don't have anyone that can body Jokic.  And we have to body Jokic to beat the Nuggets.

I agree with this but unless we sign someone that has been out of the league quite a while (whiteside, howard, cousins) who is available? I guess Robin Lopez?

What are Tyler Zeller, Jared Sullinger and Amir Johnson up to these days?  :P

What about Jaylin Galloway?  21 years old, just finished season in Australia. 6'6" defender. 4 seasons of pro ball already. Same hometown as JB.

Marcus Morris just got bought out and would be playoff eligible to any team that signs him.

Rumors from right after the trade deadline were that he was headed to Minnesota.

Reminder:  he can only sign with "non-apron" teams.

Knowing him, he’s definitely not gonna be willing to be bought out just to sit on the bench. He’s going to someone who’s going to give him minutes.

Plus, we can’t sign him he was making $25m if I recall correctly which rules is out we can only sign someone who’s making $6.2 mil or less

I don't mind the Pritchard insurance idea (Mills), but if we are going to use the spot for the playoffs, we should really be trying to focus on someone whose primary calling card is defense.

I disagree. We just got Springer and Tillman for defense. In my opinion, Patty Mills is the perfect vet to add to the bench: Championship/finals experience, decent shooter, played together with D-White in SAS, about an inch taller than PP.

I know nothing about Jaylin Galloway but that is the type of player that I was referring to.  Someone who may be useful moving forward over a recycled vet.  Otto Porter is an interesting option also but I just have my doubts that he will end up doing anything.
