.@ShamsCharania on @SiriusXMNBA earlier today: "The Celtics are going to prioritize getting a center, maybe someone like (Nikola) Vucevic. ... They're fully operating under the belief that those two guys (Kyrie and Horford) are walking."

Vooch or bryant and I am a happy man.

Or both.

Good to know, but nothing that we fans on CelticsStrong could not have come up with.  It's not rocket science.

Give me a REAL rumor.

Vucevic is very much a Brad Stevens type of center. I can see this happening.

LOL I posted in another topic that I thought they could look into Vuc, but isn't that funny it is now being reported only a day after the Al departure rumor.

Would Orlando match him if Boston offered him a max deal?

1) We can’t offer him a max deal
2) He’s an unrestricted free agent, so they only get to match if he wants to give them the right of first refusal.

  • Let's Go Celtics!
I'd rather trade for a guy like Steven Adams than sign Vucevic.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Ugh..think it will be tough to pull him from Orlando. Although he would be great in boston

I heard the Celtics if renounce all free agents, they could get 27M in cap.  Is Vuc getting more than that?

So maybe Vucevic and Rubio to replace Horford and Kyrie?

I think Bryant (3 years $12-13 per) may fit better at 1/2 cost.
Use remaining money on a pg who can help maximize talent (Rubio)

Vucevic is fine, but hes also about to turn 29 in October. He doesnt fit our timeline. Absorbing bas contracts or pursuing D-Russ would make.more sense. But I guess, ss always, it depends on what contract you give him. If it's a value then sure
