Ok its time for this team to learn to win on the road. Once they conquer that, then we will have a legitimate title contender. That 2008 team would pack their defense and go on the road and win. The Warriors just crushed the Nuggets on the road and the Cavs beat us in game 7 on the road.

Road wins require the vets and the bench to play well.  Young teams can only win at home. Don't worry about scoring so much on the road, play good defense, rebound and then give the ball to Kyrie to earn road wins.

We shoot poorly on the road for some reason.

I don't know why.

killer instinct ,  PP and KG and most guys like them Kobe too....loved to play great on the road and stick it to the other team in their gym and their crowd .   Kyrie is not bothered, and thats why we need him.  AD can pile up points ANY WHERE on anybody ....thats what makes him special .  I think Tatum will be ok and be great on the road .  Not sure about Brown and Rozier .  Hayward needs to play good every where , he did for Utah ,  he is a star and vet ...no excuses for home only good games.

got to enjoy kicking the other guys can with the crowd against you.  I just don't think the rookies get it yet .

Too much hugging and kissing for me , PP and KG

I think it’s probably a lack of experience. I expect it to turn around (hopefully)

  • GOT IT!!!
Maybe finally being forced to win on the road will remove that crutch they had last season? I’m less worried about the court and more worried about the cohesion.

I agree with the poster who said its killer instinct. That's what it is...if Kyrie wants to lead, leading on the road is the place to start.

Were they more experienced last year?

Remember they couldn't win a road playoff game. I'd they had been able to win one or two, they go to the Finals.

It's still hard to believe they were on the brink of the Finals when you see them now.

As in experience playing together. Sorry, was a bit vague

Next step for this team is to connect next 2 B2B games. I expect them to take care of Grizz. at home and next evening to beat Hawks on road. We have to go up.
