Out of all the games today, only like 3 of them were actually close lol. The rest were easy blowouts

No guarantee the heat even make the playoffs.

They don’t advance last year if Giannis doesn’t get hurt.

Miami struggles to score. They play very slow.

Not sure I buy they are anything different than they were last year. Watched a lot of their games and they just aren’t impressive, esp vs good teams.

Denver is the big winner in the West today. Instead of potentially getting the Suns who they’ve had done struggles against, they’re going to get LAL or NOLA, both of which they should easily handle.

They’ll also duck Dallas or LAC until the WCF, though they’ll have a pretty tough second round against either Minny or Phoenix.

Minny is clearly the West’s big loser today.

Clippers-Mavericks
Wolves-Suns

Cavs-Magic
Bucks-Pacers

Lot of fun matchups. Then obviously more will be determined after the play-in.

Denver definitely made out well today. I don't see them losing to the Lakers or Pelicans first round, and while a 2nd round matchup could be tough they will still have HCA for that as well. Idk if MIN just no-showed or the Suns were ultra desperate, but like that was a pretty pathetic showing with the 1 seed right there for the taking. Instead they drop to 3.

Probably not a season defining loss against the spurs I guess

Yeah, really cool concept and chaos from the in season tournament and standings but the basketball was unfortunately largely unwatchable today

I thought Rozier would give them a bigger lift but he has hurt them more defensively than he has added offensively. Him and Herro haven't worked (to date). They seem to play best when it is only one of Herro/Rozier on the floor next to bigger wings.

I mean they tried. I still think today was the best possible Game 82 you could ask for. I know I was tuned into a lot of the scores and live changing of the standings.

Ooh, the Cavs are a tough match for Orlando. I think they would have fared better against any of the other main teams - NY, MIL, IND. Cavs were the toughest matchup possible.

Suns and Wolves. Man, that is a tough matchup for Minny's twin towers. Towns vs Kevin Durant. Talk about different types of PFs. Tough matchup.

It is not like Towns can defend Booker at SF. Or check one of the combo guards - Beal, G Allen, E Gordon. Towns will have to defend Durant.

Yeah, that’s going to be a fun series with very conflicting styles. For a big, defensive-minded team like Minny, this may be the worst matchup they could’ve drew in the first round.

The already set match ups are tough to predict. It's not like 15-20 years ago where you could just pencil in the higher seed and be right most the time. There's so much talent now.

MIL over Indy is probably the safest bet, Though I could see Indy pushing it to 6 or 7.

Gonna be some low scores in the CLE-ORL Series. I'll give the edge to Cleveland for having the best player and because of Orlando's complete inability to close out close games. This Cleveland team is due for some success at some point, right?

MIN-PHX is the ultimate defense vs. Offense series. KD and the Suns know they'll be absolutely flamed by the media if they lose in the first round; I think that'll motivate them to get the job done.

DAL-LAC I see being the most fun series. Talk about one team on the upswing and one team completely falling apart. I just don't see the Clippers being able to patch things back together, especially against the best scoring duo in the league. I'll take Dallas.
