jerebko hit 40% from three for year, while enduring a nasty slump
the guy plays defense  and rebounds, while tipping a lot of offensive boards
not that it matters but this is a money season for him
another brad reclamation that danny had foresight to trade for
jerebko,turner,isaiah,crowder and zeller-all given life in boston
its now greens turn to shine
as jerebko shoots for the moneyball

Really curious to see what damage a stretch the floor completely unit of Thomas-Bradley-jerebko-Olynyk-Horford could do.

The Olynyk or Amir thing is going to be interesting for sure. Not sure Kelly can bang with the Dwight Howards, Vucevic's of this conference..

I'm sure that Kelly can't bang with the true bigs, and TP for you for pointing out a role that the team desperately needs to fill.

Interesting idea, but I think Jerebko has proven that he's a 4 not a 3. Especially paired with Bradley--it's tough to play two wings who are so bad at handling the ball. But maybe it would work with Olynyk + Horford's playmaking? In any event, you're much better of plugging Crowder or Smart in.

Who is at a bigger disadvantage, K.O. defending Howard or Vucevic in the post where he can receive help from multiple other players or Howard and Vucevic trying to defend K.O. out around the 3 point line?  This is what people seem to miss a lot when discussions like this come up.  Howard and Vucevic become pretty bad defenders when forced to defend in space away from the hoop and they can't protect the rim either.  K.O. when defending them can always receive help and is there to provide some rim protection.

KO in those match up's with huge bigs should get hammered in the 1st Qtr but will have to be able to put the ball on the floor and force fouls.. He is totally capable but up to this point he has not been consistently aggressive enough...

K.O.'s 8 starts last year.  1st qtr. scoring.
             C's     Opp.
   Min.    34       26
@Cha.    29       21
@Bkn.    37       22
   Det.    33       24
@Chi.     27       21
@Mem.   34       18
@N.Y.     27       36
   Chi.     34       23

The C's were +40 with K.O. on the floor in the 1st qtr. of those 8 starts.  The C's were 7-1 in the 1st qtr..  All of those starts were with a depleted roster, missing 1 or more of Amir, Sully, Bradley or Smart.  Many of those teams have huge bigs and there was clearly no problem on either end of the floor.

But we started Sully. Just horrible. Hopefully Stevens doesn't make the same mistakes with him and Rozier this year.

It says more about the players we had in that role last season than it says about Sully that he was our 2nd best big last seasons.

Sullinger started the season off the bench if one is inclined to recall...

sullinger stumbled (or rolled) down the stretch presumably as a result of his poor conditioning which is probably a big part of why we let him walk when he was very affordable and would have addressed a key need. However, this poor play at the end of the season I think has caused people to forget how good Sully was for most of the season. He was very good for us this year. Olynyk's poor ending to the season had the same effect. I expect a big season from kelly this year.

I don't know about the rest of these posters but I would love to see Jerebko nail a three late in the clock in a tight game down the stretch, then stick his mug in a camera and yell "show me the money" in a thick Swedish accent.

Sully was being showcased last year in an effort to trade him before the deadline.  His role would have been much more limited down the stretch had Jordan not destroyed K.O.'s shoulder right before the break.
