I generally like Nike as a brand more than Adidas and was happy to hear they were taking over as jersey manufacturer. I have to say though just about every new feature I've seen I have not liked and that's not even including the GE logo which is something the team had no choice over.

I'll wait and see what the 3rd and 4th jerseys look like.  :-\

I don't have a problem with the corporate logo. It's a jersey.

I do LOVE that the Celtics are sponsored by GE while, like, the Sacramento Kings are sponsored by Blue Diamond Almonds.

what is the pad in the back of the jersey? Are basketball players now wearing pads?

Uh....yeah.

Elbow pads, knee pads, shin pads, pads to protect their rib cage, back, ect. Some of the guys look like gladiators out there with all the padding they wear now.

GE logo bothers me less than the Nike swoosh, which I try to avoid like the plague. It is omnipresent.

Hey Phil, was it really necessary to have your logo on the shirts and on the pants? SMH.

I completely agree about being underwhelmed despite being a fan of Nike over Adidas/Reebok/UnderArmor.

The ad was the teams choice, as they are only one of a handful of teams that decided to do this. I do, however, think they did a good job integrating it into the jersey with the color and logo itself a nice flow. It's not an ugly design at all, it's an American company headquartered in Boston, and I feel we may have the best ad of everyone. Thought I would hate it a lot more than I do.
