Rondo to start for lakers

I’m intrigued to see what rondo can do with lebron as his target

That's the right choice. No way is Ball the better player right now.

I'd like to see them start the 3 of them. See how they can work.

I still think Ball is better as a secondary ball-handler / creator than the primary one. I think he can work well (at SG) alongside a PG like Rondo.
I agree but to work Ball has to shoot a lot better.

NO should not have let him go.

They couldn't offer as much as the Lakers. The best they could do was ~$6.3 million ($8.6 million full MLE minus the $2.3 million they signed Elfrid Payton for), while the Lakers gave him $9 million
I'm bitter.

Yeah, you can hardly afford to start Rondo (over the last 3 years shoots .439/.351/.534) next to Lonzo, a member of the rare 30/30/40 club
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

On the other hand, the passing would be incredible.  Has there ever been a team with that much elite passing talent in their starting lineup?

I guess this is the Laker's payback for Shaq playing his final season with the Celtics.
