Wait...  aren't we rooting for the Yanks, so the Sox can get into the playoffs?

Or, are folks conceding that we can't win in the playoffs, and that the Rays have a better chance?

Oh, this is sort of an inside joke with Boots ... I just can NOT root for the Skankees in any way, shape or form, and it's hard rooting against my second-favorite team, so I'm hoping the Yanks lose, (always), but the Red Sox retain their grasp on the wild card spot. That's not being too particular, is it? ;)

The Rays are your second favorite team Bahku?

Woooo Woooo!  The Rays are up 8 - 0, fifth inning of the first game Rays v. Rangers series.  (Pitcher,  Moore, they said it was his second major league start.  Catcher, Kelly Shoppit (sp?)  ex Red Sox player?  has two home runs!)

The Rays are looking kinda like last year's Giants.  That said, I expect them to hit a wall soon.

Kinda reminds me of Rockies '07.

I once bowled a 287 game...didn't even realize I had a perfect game going until the 10th frame, and promptly blew it! (Don't even ask how I was so dumb that I didn't know  ::)  , but my husband was there and bragging rights have gone a long, long way)... That's kind of what I expect from the Rays.  This has sure been a fun year for them (and fans).  Probably what other teams should do is not raid the players, but try to get the scouts and coaches away from the Rays, after all, Crawford (Rays best player last year) didn't work out so well...but the rookies have been amazing!

Sad day my Rays  are out of it....but...they had a great year and performed way over expectations!  Great young team that played with no fear.
