Brian Cahsman (Yankee's GM) agrees the Yankee's Suck!

Don't know if anyone has seen this but I just found it on one of the other SBNation sites and it is hilarious. In case you don't know, that's Brian Cashman, the Yankee's general manager, on the right side of the picture.



The poster of the picture said:

"He was not cool about this….he didn’t see what the shirt said until after. He saw the Yankee colors and word. After the pic he kept telling us “that was BS” and “Not cool man.” He was pretty ticked off…..we just saw it as an opportunity that wouldn’t come up again and figured why not…it was a golden moment. The Yankee scouts sitting next to him saw what the shirt said and didn’t say anything until after…..same with the security cop who almost stopped my friend from gettin the pic but Cash insisted. If he actually saw what the shirt said there is no way he would’ve done that."

I hate the Yankees as much as the next guy, but this is what I think of this photo:
#1.  Cashman is a good sport
#2.  The guy w/ Cashman is classless.

I want to agree with you on #2.  I really do.  But I can't -- at the end of the day, professional sports is entertainment, and there is a lot that is fair game.  Including the picture above.

I am all for the shirt -- but if you are wearing the shirt, don't go up to the GM and ask for a picture, there's a line of respectability that was crossed....imho

There is no need to show special respect for a GM. I don't like the Sox or the Yankees, but I see no problem with what the guy did. I'm sure he was polite. Ridiculing players gets far worse than this.

It's Cashman's responsibility to be smart.
