And I'm sorry, there seems to be a narrative that Grant is a good defender but I don't see it. On the wide-open Blake 3 it came about because Grant's man blew by him and two other Celtics had to converge to help, creating a triple team on a mediocre Detroit player and resulting in the open shot. Earlier Grant - despite being quite stout - was backed down like he was made of tissue paper for an easy bucket. I don't really know why he's out there if he can't play man on man defense.

That young ref is awful. Way too eager to blow his whistle.

Carson had his head turned for the ball, it was not pass interference.

Laterally, he’s very slow. Well, he’s pretty slow in general. I guess he’s good at setting screens for Tatum and he’s been excellent from 3pt. If he’s not hitting shots, he’s basically just hurting the team. Have quite a few players on the team that meet that criteria.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Why exactly did we draft Nesmith if we're not going to play him? We're really playing Edwards over him right now?

Awful. Just awful. I feel so bad for Tatum that he is forced to finish the third with Carson, Grant, Teague and TT. He looks like he's playing selfish but he's just thinks even a contested shot from a bad location has a better chance of going in than a wide open shot from the other 4 players. Sad, but probably true.

It is totally crazy. Did he poop on Brad's rug or something? It seems beyond idiotic at this point. Can't Nesmith miss shots from the corner as good as anyone?

Has there ever been a worse NBA GM at drafting in the teens of the first round than Danny Ainge?

He’s an excellent GM. He’s awful at drafting in the teens.

I’m done with Stevens.  He’s ridiculously inconsistent and stubborn.
