I am a 2k fanatic and have been playing 2k9 alot. However whenever i draft a rookie, especially SF & SG, in association mode, no matter how highly rated they are they usually average something like 4 pts 5 rebounds 5 assist 1 stl .5 blks. This sometimes can go on for three or four seasons.

My question is why does this happen? Why dont any rookies drafted in the game score alot of pointS? Is there anyway to change this?

Its cuz of the way they balance the stats. They make the shooting usually horrible. Try to fix the attributes I'd say.

You must  too much. Plus it depends on the number of shots everyone else gets.

Thanks guys, is there any way to adjust how many shots each player takes or focus the offense around one player?

Edit: Also the responses are much appreciated. TPs for both

Play as the guy and just do it. If you have a few games where he goes off for 15-20 or so it will eventually work itself out

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

Is this a trick question? Try passing to these players more and shooting with them. I kid.

I'm assuming you are in simulation mode. What roles are you assigning these 2k rookies?
The only color that matters is GREEN
