Jamal Crawford is having a great year with the Clippers. JR Smith is doing pretty well for the Knicks too.

He might not be a sixth man candidate if something big happens before 3 tomorrow.

But, I love his progress.

Can Jeff win this award if he isn't even the 6th man to play on our team(technically)?

I'd be shocked if he cracked the top 5 in voting. He doesn't play enough, score enough or do anything else well enough to merit consideration.

Kenneth Faried would pay half his current salary to match up with Green in the 4th quarter of every game he plays...

No -- J.Green has been mediocre for most of the season off the bench. A good run lately isn't enough to put him in the conversation. He doesn't deserve to be there.

Agreed.  He has been a nice revelation lately, but too little too late to compete with other guys for that spot.

either way you put it...his salary is still a buzz kill

I would say he has a little better chance of winning it than I do. He has played well for a month. Before that he had a handful of good games. Maybe next year, unless he becomes a starter.

He has certainly started to play like a worthy candidate but his overall production throughout the complete year will take that away.

Right now Crawfords gotta be the leading favorite with JR Smith in second.

How do you figure if he plays at a high level?

Dude can not win with some of you.

Yeah this.  But if his role continues next year I'd look at him as a strong candidate if he continues this play.

If he sustains something resembling his level of play from February through the end of the season, then maybe. Otherwise, probably not.

I think he has to do his February numbers PLUS some for the remainder of the season
he'll also probably need more highlight dunks...I mean it can't hurt lol

but I don't think he or anyone on our team has a really good chance.

Jeff Green's salary is not a buzzkill. Brandon Bass' perhaps, but not Jeff Green's.
