  • Let's Go Celtics!
Kyrie - Smart - Jaylen - Horford - R.Williams

I want to see that lineup for at least a minute in the 2nd half.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

Really hate these games where Kyrie has to bail the Celtics out of their own Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ty play.

Makes me really worry about the future.

If somebody wants to show up and help Kyrie out a little bit, that would be grand.

I'm still waiting for Tatum to stop coasting.  He's taken four shots.

Tale of two benches

BOS 47 minutes 13 points

ATL 42 mins 21 points

Team shooting %
BOS 47%
ATL  52%

This cannot and will not continue!

Kyrie 8-11

Morris 2-8
Rozier 2-7
Brown 0-5

And people complain that he takes too many shots  ;D
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Kyrie is the only reason this game isn’t a blowout.

They gave up 68 in the first half to one of the worst teams in the NBA. Sometimes I wonder if the Cs are just massive pretenders.

I think this is a bit of a overreaction. We actually play elite ball when we're engaged, which we almost always are against the top teams, such as Toronto, Milwaukee, Philly, etc.

It is frustrating that we don't give that energy against the lower teams, and it is clearly hurting us in the standings. But regardless we're going to be a tough out in the playoffs, and I still think we're the favorite to come out of the East. Just making it harder for ourselves with the seeding.

Does anyone else have the feeling this could still very easily end up a 20 point win for the Celtics? I don't know. I think a real solid 3rd quarter could turn this game right around.
Ya, but how many times have we said that this season then lost?

I honestly feel like its either gonna be a huge Celtics win, or a huge Hawks win. Kyrie seems to be the only guy really doing much tonight, he is 8-11. He starts missing and it could snowball on us fast. Or we could come out and flatten them to start the third.

Yeah, Rozier has almost twice as many shots off the bench. Something's wrong with that.

We play elite ball when we are at home. 6-1   vs those teams at home, 0-2 on the road. Gonna be interesting to see if we can beat those guys on the rad, because at this rate we are gonna have to.

What kind of off the court work is Yabusele doing?  Every time I see the dude he looks more and more like Big Baby.  Might be a toss up at this point.

Jaylen 0-5, Rozier 2-7. These guys want opportunities to shine like they did in the playoffs last year, but when they get the opportunity they look like dog poop.

yet it was the starters who gave up a million points, the bench essentially played them even. Those guys do need to play better, but not the reason we are losing either.
