Safe to say, this is looking more like Jayson Tatum's team than Kyrie Irving's team.

Maybe....if not sooner, than definitely later. Tatum is clearly a 'go to scorer'.

But what is clear to me is Kyrie is doing his best to get others involved more than look for his own shot. And I think the problem is that isn't really playing to his strong suit.

Eventually I think Kyrie will begin to take over as the team's lead offensive player.

The question is, how long is it going to take for Kyrie to figure this out?

This is Brad Stevens' team until a player decides to take over.

Happened a long time ago. The players jack up bad shots - Stevens stands there with that pensive, cerebral look on his face.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

it is all in the plan .....because he eventually corrals them and wills them to victory.

He mentioned in an interview that one thing exciting about his role this season was not necessarily to be the go to scorer all the time but rather to try and make everyone around him better. Obviously it’s still a work in progress but I don’t think he is worried about not leading the scoring right now. They went to him in the 4th a few times when they needed buckets.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

That's unfair. I don't know what the exact stats are but the amount of wide open shots that came within the flow of the offense that this team has missed thus far this year is astounding. This whole team has been ice cold. That's not on Stevens. That's on the players.

Hayward is bad and needs time to become the he was.. brown is bad because he has less touches than everyone else from the staring lineup... i would bring baynes at starting 5 and brown or hayward to the second to find rythm...

Yeah, Brad’s offensive sets have been working amazingly. Nobody can buy a bucket though, besides Morris

I've been in this permanent state of believing Marcus Smart will eventually figure out 3pt shooting...

I'm nearly willing to go down the Evan Turner route though (green light only when noone within 10 feet, other team only has 4 guys on the court)

Morris has been 1 of my favorite players on this team since the start of last year. Willing to play defense, backs down to no one, can shoot and is pretty clutch. Hes like a 6ft 8 Marcus smart who can actually shoot lol
everyone got so sensitive after 9-11... thanks alot bin laden

this is a lucky win if you ask me..
still glad to have pulled it out.

I am starting to get worried about Brown...He has been abysmal thus far despite being our healthiest and one of the youngest players, has not improved at all during the summer and has so far still bricking free throws...heck even kentavious Pope is playing better than him right now and yet everyone here expect JB to be better than Zach Lavine...

To be fair, I don't think anyone expected Lavine to start off averaging 32/4/3

Westbrick scores ZERO points in the 4th on 0-7 shooting while his team is outscored 67-45 in the second half.

Face it OKC fans, all he cares about is his triple-doubles, not winning. Why are you still blaming Melo for last season

I do love seeing him whiff on poor 3 after poor 3. Such an overrated player
