I think they're gonna come out and win 8 straight right off the bat and end up winning somewhere around 55 for the season.

Duplicate thread. http://www.celticsblog.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=64&topic=8933.0

Anyways, after the Posey signing I would say 57 wins.

I could have said more in my first post - I want everyone to make a specific prediction, not a range (so this is not a duplicate post).  At the end of the season I'll bring it back again, and, well... we'll see.

I merged this, since if it's not a duplicate post, it's darn close to one.  If people want to use this thread to post exact win totals, they may certainly do so.

The only reason why I don't think they go over the 53 win threshold is chemistry.  It will take a little while for these guys to get in to a rhythm together, I give them 20 or so games to really get in to a productive rhythm.

Optimistic?  How about 61?  61-21 because enthusiasm will make up for what chemistry lacks.  We have Kevin Garnett.  'Power' in the East has been redefined, and it is now a Celtic phenomenon.

Greg Dickerson just predicted 63 wins for the C's on WEEI this season..

..Then again, he said 48 this past year, so does that mean we will only win 47?

The Captain said 60+....I put my faith in him....I'll say 61....old post...i might've already posted?...I change my mind to what Paul says.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

if you happen to be one of the 1.8% who said under 38, you suck at life

62-20.  I don't know why, but it didn't truly dawn on me until today just how good this team is going to be.  They have 3 of the top 20 players in the NBA - no other team can say that (sorry Wizards).

Barring injury, this is going to be a fantastic year to be a Celtics fan.
