LeBron: 2-for-18 FG, 10 turnovers

Pierce + Allen: 2-for-18 FG, 10 turnovers

Both sides got huge fluke games from stars that should not be repeated this series.

KG was the difference-maker tonight.

Winning this type of game was big for the Celts' confidence.

We have the two of them to match LeBron.  They have no one to match KG.  This is his series, he needs to put us on his back for this one, so far he's one for one.  Great game big fella.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

I'll take that anytime.  Lebron doesn't score = Cavs don't win.

As much as i ended up loving the way the game panned out, we can't expect the same kind of games the rest of the series.  Bad news is there is no way Lebron is making just 2 field goals in any other games, missed so many easy ones, and he was just flat out cold from outside.  Godd news is there is no way ray isn't going to start hitting his shot and Pierce isn't going to take it to the hole more and get some lay-ups.  Very excited to see how this series turns out. GO C'S!

The problem with LeBron is that we defended him extremely well.  It wasn't as much him playing bad, but we playing him great.

Pierce and Allen in the other hand, had a bad game... I don't expect this to continue.  But I'm more worried about Allen only taking 4 shots than him actually shooting well.  He goes on streaks, it has been that way all season.  He's also a volume shooter and he needs touches to get into rhythm, and that's more a problem from the coaching standpoint and the playmakers standpoint and probably a combination of Allen making himself available.

Again, not worried about his shooting, but worried about the team getting him involved.

Ugly.  Pretty neat stats, though.

I think they'll make an effort to get Ray going early next game.

Pierce and Ray have two big advantages

1) there are two of them

2) KG has established himself as the dominate low post player.  Cleveland's defensive reaction will open up the space Pierce and Ray need.
