Road playoff games make me super nervous, but I'm glad we got a blowout win today  8)

Fantastic answer in the 2nd half after the Bucks roared back late in the 2nd quarter.

What I liked the most was that aside from a 5 min period in the 2nd quarter, we didn’t let missing shots affect our defense. We’ll always look good when we’re making shots but when we’re not it’s our defense that will keep us in the game. They had a plan to stop Giannis and stuck to it. Bucks made a huge run in the second but they hung in there and were able to repel any other runs they made. In the past we may have folded in the 3rd quarter.

Offensively we took advantage of the bucks continuing to play drop coverage on pick and roll, Gordon and Al made them pay. Gordon was very influential off the bench, good things happen when he gets the ball. And Kyrie made tough shots when he needed to and also moved the ball with 11 assists.

Bucks will adjust next game so we have to be ready.

we collapsed well on giannis in the paint

make him hit 3's to beat us. we won that bet today. middleton and mirotic will have to do more next game to beat us

brad won't let giannis beat us.

Yeah! I'd love to see the Celtics go all out in game 2 and crush the spirit of the Bucks!

I know the first round is over, but this just shows the non-stop max effort Indiana played with. Those types of teams are tough to beat. It felt like the refs tried to get the Bucks back in the game in the second quarter, but the C's didn't let that bother them and ripped the Bucks hearts out in the third quarter.

Might have to tape First Take tomorrow just to get Stephen A. Smith's reaction to this game.

My guess is he calls Al Horford a baaaaad man.

Stephen A. has praised the Celtics all season long and said he still believes in them.

Max Kellerman on the other hand will probably find some way to trash Kyrie  ::)

He doesn't hate the Celtics but for some reason he despises Kyrie. Maybe it's because he still holds bitter feelings about the last time Kyrie made an appearance on First Take  :P

Well, he's a big Lakers fan too.

Anyways, great win today.

I think the difference between how the team played today resulting in a win and how they had played earlier in the season which would have been a loss is that Hayward is almost like Utah Hayward now and that the team actually came out with effort on D and pretty much kept up that effort.  also didn't hurt that they really limited the Bucks on the offensive boards.

really hoping they put this effort into winning game 2 which would really crush the Bucks hopes in this series.

I agree. We are so much mentally tougher than we exhibited during regular season. This emerged during Indy series.

What a great win. And great game preparation by the coaches. I think Brad’s stock back on the rise.

Ultimately a seven man rotation today.

Rozier got 19 minutes, but, C's were in front double digits for most of his court time..

Baynes and Semi had 8 minutes each.

Be interesting to see how Stevens shakes it up for game two.

Imagine the Bucks will do everything possible to rush Brogdan  back. I know they said he won’t play first two games but after that massacre I can see him out there on Tuesday.
