I can't wait to throw in all my "process" jokes when the 76ers get bounced.

But it might now go to 7 games with Hayward out for extended time. The 76ers just proved they can hang around without Ben Simmons...now it's an evenly matched team.

I'll make those jokes when we can beat the 76ers with both Embiid and Simmons.

"Jayson Tatum is one of only four players in league history to tally at least 3,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 150 made 3-pointed before turning 22 years old.

Pretty good company.
Think Doncic has since become the 5th. Not bad company at all

And 2 of those 3 went straight to the NBA from high school making it more impressive.

Really? I think even without Hayward we're a notch above the Simmons-less Sixers. While you can question who's the best overall player, Embiid or Tatum, we still have three of the top four players in the series not considering Hayward.

I hope we lock up Tatum in the long haul and make sure he doesn't go to the Lakers. Keep him happy in green.

I'm not one for schadenfreude... except in sports.  I have to admit it.  Especially Philly and New York teams.

Embiid's disappointment makes me smile.

I enjoy watching Tatum drop 32 points in a playoff against the very team that could have drafted him #1, but took Fultz instead.

Horford's probable regrets signing with Philly, never imagining for a second that he'd be sitting on the bench in the closing minutes of the 4th quarter in a playoff game.

Knowing Philly is poorly set up in upcoming years, encumbered by bad contracts to Harris and Horford.

And of course the fact that we again will throw a bucket of cold water on "The Process" for at least one more year - the process that so many thought would inevitably result in a Philly championship.  Philly can't win 4 out of 6 games against us moving forward.

Good times.

Hard-fought win.  Tatum and Brown were stars, and Kemba was solid.  Embiid got his, but appeared to tire down the stretch.

We need to do a better job of ending defensive possessions with a rebound, and we need to find our main guys a little bit of help on offense - especially given that Hayward might miss a few games now.  Smart couldn't buy a bucket tonight, and Robert Williams was energetic but ineffective.  It would REALLY help us if Theis could punish Embiid for completely ignoring him on the perimeter.

Fifteen more.

This series gonna be a dog fight...
They have best player
We have overall best talent
We getting beat up physically, gotta hold up

It’s a discussion for sure. Such different players it makes it tough.
But my guess if you polled unbiased NBA players, coaches and Media... it would swing Embiids way

I think that's questionable with Tatum's emergence, especially given that Embiid really isn't all that well-rounded and his weak areas (limited mobility, lack of conditioning, etc.).

Yep, Embiid is struggling. Just rang up a 26 & 16 night in Game 1. He just eats us alive.
Get some size Danny !!!!!!

He also had 5 turnovers, had 5 fouls, spent way too much time on the 3pt line, and allowed Theiss to be wide open for three all night long.

As dominant as Embiid is as a talent his terrible decision making, oversized ego, lazy work ethic and complete lack of basketball IQ hold him back from achieving his potential.  He had 26 and 16 tonight against us.  If he had the intangibles to match his talent he could have had 40.

He was incredibly lucky that Theis (as a career 34% 3PT shooter) went 1-4 from three today.

I think Embiid might seriously have the lowest intangibles-to-talent ratio of any player in the NBA right now.

For a guy who's team built their franchise around him, is young, and had all the time in the world to prepare for these playoffs, Embiid looks totally out of shape and unprepared. If I were a Sixers fan I'd be completely p---ed off with him right now. He's a front-running fraud. He's got a ton of talent, talks a lot, but doesn't put the work in to back any of it up.

Extremely important win for building confidence and sucking air out of their tires.
Great game from Jays, solid from Kemba and Gordon (wish him all the best and quick rehab, maybe it's not that bad). Our centers kind of coped with Embiid by committee.
Smarty didn't have it offensively today, but elite D as always.

good game, though a bit stressful. the Js are amazing to watch.

Celtics win with Kemba not having a good game. Celtics win this series, but it will take a lot of strong defense by them to do it.
