The East is going to be a bloodbath next year if Westbrook to MIA comes into fruition.

PHI = Simmons/Horford/Embiid
MIL = Giannis/Middleton/Lopez
BOS = Walker/Tatum/Hayward
BKN = Irving/Durant/Jordan
IND = Brogdon/Sabonis/McConnell
MIA = Butler/Westbrook

Can't sleep on Orlando either.

Wait, you think McConnell is one of Indiana’s top 3?

What about Detroit? Reggie Jackson with one year left and Tony Snell with two gets you to 30 million in salary outgoing. Might as well pair two thirty year old overpaid injury prone guys in Griffin and Westbrook.

Either New York or Miami..both teams wouldnt have anything left after a trade and free agency is almost dried up
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

I predict he will be a Knick by this time next year. OKC is going to be able to embark on an epic rebuild with all of the picks for George and Westbrook. Here’s what I would ask as soon as Randle can be traded:

If I’m the Knicks, I do it and hope AD opts out to join the Knicks with Westbrook and Barrett. Or maybe Draymond. Or they sit tight and go for Giannis or Oladipo in 2021.

I would think Toronto would do whatever it could to add another star.

I don't know if  they would trade him to Miami. They already have 2 of their picks, so Miami is limited with what picks they can trade AND OKC has a vested interest in them being as bad as possible

That said, I can totally see it happening if Miami turns into the only viable trade option
I'm bitter.

OKC trades: Westbrook

Hey, did you have your morning coffee?  How about Oladipo instead of McConnell.    ;D

MIA=Butler/Westbrook/Olynyk

Does that temper your enthusiasm?

It doesn't work in the ESPN trade machine and it doesn't work in real life.  The Heat are hard capped due to getting Butler in a sign-and-trade.  The Heat are going to have to send out 37M+ salary to take on Westbrook's 38M salary.

There are reports that Houston wants to find a way to pair him with Harden. How would that work?

You've got to be kidding me. Those can't be real reports, can they? Although very talented individually, he and Harden might be the worst fit in the history of NBA backcourts.

That sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. The NBA would have to add another basketball for that to work.
