Things do get a little slow in the off season, but there's still lots of fun to be had.

  • TRANSFORMATION INTO CHAMPION COMPLETE!!!
There's always movie line trivia and off-topic threads, plenty of activity, and there's always discussions about the finer points of the Rocky and Karate Kid movie franchises. So no things wont be slowing down here at all.

Not to mention that there should be a sharp increase in Will Solomon related topics.

Not to mention the ever popular CB draft we do.

Can't wait to defend my Southeast Division (and I would argue Eastern Conf.) crown!  :)

gets me thinking --- maybe we should do draft order by reverse "finish". that would make things kind of interesting, huh?

Still waiting for someone to load all the rosters into Live or 2k9 *cough* MAESTRO *cough* Because then I wouldn't have to listen to guys like Roy and Gainesville think they had a better team then me.  ;)

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

I have a feeling if the C's do fail to win the championship this year, this place will be a little more active than it was last offseason.  Especially given the expiring contracts they have, that they could concievably trade, and the holes they need to fill in.

OK. I loaded all the rosters into Live AND 2k9 and the ORLANDO MAGICS went 81-1 (we rested our starters for the playoffs). Case closed. hahaha.

But seriously:    The Magics starting lineup of  Billups - Stuckey - Granger - Duncan - Brad Miller  has proven to be as good as we (Magics front office) thought they'd be this season/playoffs.

How about hoping we see more of this on Sunday from the Magic?

Now that's a Kubrick reference!

Discussing free agency in the offseason is probably my favorite forum time of the year. There is so much to debate. I've got my wish lists ready.

You bet this blog will be active! ;D

If memory serves correct, I think we started it around mid-late July and it went into August.

30 CBers each get an NBA team and there is a draft.  Every player in the NBA is up for grabs.  Around 15 rounds or so. Usually there are plenty of trades involving picks and players.  After the draft, there is a brief free agency period.  Then each CBer presents his/her "team".  Then we have votes on best team in each division, top 8 teams in each conference and so on...  Also vote on "Team of the Future" and "Best Current Team" and such...
