Jazz, preferably instrumental.

Everything ever done by John Coltrane would probably be enough for me.

Amen.

Jazz- Ahmad Jamal, Miles, Coltrane,Oscar Peterson, Art Blakey, and a lot more.  Too many to name.

Hip Hop- MF Doom/Dangerdoom/Madvillain/KMD, J Dilla, Pete Rock, Jazz Liberatorz

  • The good ole days.
Don't need 5 minutes to think... just 5 seconds.  Jazz.

Cannonball, Miles, Coltrane, Bird, Monk, Rollins, Shorter, Duke, Count, Armstrong, Ella, Oscar, Roach, Blakey, Hancock, Billie, Dizzy.... list of geniuses that produced hundreds of great albums is almost endless.

Pretty close to feckless

Bob Marley
Bob Dylan
Mark Knopfler
Neil Young
Some Reggae Dub
Some acoustic guitar
and some sad italian Opera music sung by a tenor/baritone

(lots of vanilla whiskey)

Master Po

I am intrigued by vanilla whiskey??  Is it Bourbon  --I was given some Pappy Van Winkles recently 107 proof and still very smooth and pleasant.

As for your excellent taste in music I love all your choices but need to proselytize for Bob Wills -- 30's & 40's country swing performed live music --will put a big smile on your face.

Master Po

had never heard of vanilla whiskey but you have peaked my curiosity and i will go out of my way to experience the taste--soon as i can find it

thanks for the enlightenment

peace, love and understanding

my name feckless came from a Clash song (Rudy can't fail) many years ago when Jeff was Ranter and we were all posting on the old Globe site--so add the Clash to the musical list on that island.

  • Let them hate, as long as they fear
Hey Feckless and Master Po, from the good old Globe Sie..
And someday in the midst of time,
When they ask you if you knew me
Remember that you were a friend of mine
