Really?

I've only heard him on Blueprint 3, which he was ill on, but I was definitely skeptical of a full album.  What's his style like?  Is it more rock than hip hop?

It's Straight No Chaser right?

Yeah, and I can't really explain what his music is like. It's different. It's definitely not rap, but I wouldn't put it as rock. It's just good music.

Just checked this album out.  Unbelievable.  Like you, I'm not sure how to describe the genre.  Very good though, if you like this though, check out a guy named Colin Munroe.  They're very similar.
do it

I think the genre would be considered "pop-art"... (the genre created by Kanye West in 808's and Heartbreak). Kanye said he would classify that album as "pop-art" and Mr. Hudson does have a lot of similarities. It is very good music, whatever genre it is.

Did anyone else think this was going to be a thread mocking A-Rod? Especially after the centaur story broke today.

Related to my comment, has anyone been able to find a picture of the arod centaur paintings? I have not online and was hoping someone had at least artistically recreated one.

Whoa now, I didn't make that bad boy, that's a recreation from Deadspin.  Hehe, I pictured myself slaving over the perfect ARod/centaur photoshop for hours, getting it to line up just right...
