I'd LOVE to be in that locker room after the game.  I'm sure it won't come out what KG said to Baby, but you can't carry yourself like that on the bench.

Both of them are passionate guys so they'll work it out once they're off the court I'm sure.  KG is in rare form tonight, even for him, which is awesome.

I really wish Rondo finished that layup that was a phenomenal move.
"Take this down," said O'Neal. "My name is Shaquille O'Neal and Paul Pierce is the (expletive) truth. Quote me on that and don't take nothing out. I knew he could play, but I didn't know he could play like this. Paul Pierce is the truth."

POB :P
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

  • You know my methods, Watson.
good for you kg!  big baby apparently needs an "ubuntu" reminder.  from kg's post-game comments it sounds like bbd is not happy with his role.

maybe it's time to package he and giddens for another player to provide some more front court depth...

You can start to see now when Rondo is setting up for that alley oop.  The connection on that plan is amazing.

Another solid performance from the team.  Rondo, KG, and Allen continue to highlight this winning streak.

Agreed.  KG will sit down and talk to him and hopefully straighten the whole thing out, but I think this could end the Powe vs. Baby debate.

Are you serious? BBD needs to let it go and be a team player.

We desperately need a big with length.  No questions about it.  Danny better be trying to fill that role because further down the road with Ilgauskas on Cleveland and the Lakers with their length, size will really matter.

Wish they could get Pryzbilla but Portland seems good with him.

An up and down win against a lively opponent.  I hope this serves as a bit of a wakeup call, and that whatever stuck in Davis' craw gets straightened out.

Really fun to watch.  Unlike most, I rarely get to see games and it was a real treat to see the Rondo people have been talking about lately.  And Powe seems to have added a little finesse to his game (just a little).  Was so happy I wish it had gone 6 quarters.  Or sixths.

Easy on the baby. We all have a bad day once in awhile. Ours just doesn't usually show up on national television.

On another point, Brandon Roy really looks tough to handle. Both Pierce and Allen seemed to have a lot of trouble just staying in front of him. He will be a tough player for a long time if he stays healthy.

We've now beaten 3 of the top 5 teams in the NBA (Portland, Cleveland and Orlando).  ;D ;D

I agree.  Wish ESPN had left it alone though the on-air crew were pretty good about it.  Tough night but he's one of our guys--contrast his earnestness with a guy like Marbury.

Agreed that Cs need another big with some length.  Problem is, they are a hard commodity to come by.  It would be great if the Cs could swing a trade for Joe Smith.

While we are talking about other players, I liked the look of Travis Outlaw.  he can shoot, and he is a long player, which would be nice for us off the bench at the 3....
Celtics fan for life.

I didn't realize what he was doing until after the play materialized but seconds before you could hear Rondo shouting to Perkins to come out of the middle which opened up the lane for Garnett.  He saw that play and made it happen.
