Congrats to you both on your milestones, (and anyone I may have missed lately).
One of the ironies of blogging is that some of the best friends I've made here, are people who I originally had some of the biggest disagreements with.
Agreement is not always a requirement of friendship, and
disagreement very often can lead to mutual respect, though admittedly in a roundabout sort of way.
There are also people here who I may not consider friends, but they are people I definitely respect, not because I agree with them, but because they have disagreed with me, but done so with integrity and wisdom, and I have learned in the process.
There are some very interesting dynamics involved in blogging, especially when it comes to topics that are dear to our hearts, and that we may be overly-invested in emotionally.
I can certainly say with confidence that I have learned more from others here than they have learned from me, and that I am thankful for
most of the lessons in communication and restraint that I've soaked up along the way.
It's an interesting place, this cyber-world we live in.
