It’s good to have a live sporting event to watch, even if it turns out to be one giant zoom party.

'sporting' is such a loose term here but I'll take it as a welcome distraction --> provided the 'Skins don't do something stupid again.

I used to get so up for the NFL draft as a teenager & in my 20s.   Now, it barely moves the needle for me but will definitely watch tonight. Not much else going on.  Will be interesting to see where the QBs after Borrow go and how the whole "Zoom" thing goes.  Would love to see some chaos.

I’m curious about Tua.  Miami should take him at #5, but there’s speculation that if they don’t he could slide.

IDK which OT is going to be the best of the bunch, but I am hoping the Giants don't mess this up.  Solidifying the line has to be the top priority, though.  Jones and Barkley have a chance to be a special backfield for many years with a strong o-line in front of them.

Someone will move up at some point for him.  but the reality is there aren't a lot of teams after the Chargers that need a QB until you almost get to the Patriots at 23.  Some teams could certainly talk themselves into Tua or some other QB, but QB is not a huge need for a lot of those teams.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

If he slides I'm hoping the Bears find a way to move up, even if it costs next year’s #1.

I usually watch the first few picks and then try to catch the Pats first round pick.  I’ll watch most of it this year as I’m dying for some sports.  The ratings for this are going to be huge.

As for who I hope they pick, no idea.  I just want to see a TE taken in the third round or earlier.

I attended day 1 of the draft both years it was held in Chicago.  It is literally the most boring sporting event you can attend.

I imagine it would be boring, but now it’s the best sporting event in over a month and I’m running out of things to watch on Netflix and cable.

Man I hope so.

Next to the dictionary's definition of "Long Suffering" is a picture of the Washington Redskins.

We have seemingly been the 90s version of the Boston Celtics.

I think we're on the right path now, though.

Really hope Pats get Hurts.
I think he is the perfect QB for our system, Smart, respectful, good athlete, overall great character guy. He's my ideal Brady replacement.
