Iman shumpert just will not let go of that stupid haircut

What a tool

Exactly what I was thinking, TP!
my wife's been saying the same about KO for 2 years and that chin hair is just gruesome

I'd take Shumpert's hair over KO's hair any day
it's been a couple of decades since I could contemplate either option unfortunately :(

Will be interesting to see if Stevens comes up with any clever adjustments, but based on the talent gap, all four games should go like this.  Blowout sweep.

Seriously, this is so hard to watch. Sooooo lop-sided. Stevens really needs to publicly call it out. That's the only way it will change. The league doesn't want that reputation.

And it's pretty crazy that our best two players today have been KO and Smart, a 2nd year player and a rookie.

Calling out the refs when your team is woefully overmatched is a loser move.  I would be pretty disappointed in Stevens if he did that.

Just acknowledge that the other team is better and move onto Game 2, 3, 4.  Then move onto what you're going to do in the off-season to try and get closer to being good enough.

So you're saying the officiating has been fair today?

I'm saying that the officiating has been far less a factor in the score than the difference in talent between the two teams.

Even with fair officiating, they probably won't win this game due to Irving playing out of his mind and us making too many turnovers. I agree with that.

The comment to the media is more about ensuring a fairer shot the rest of the series rather than blaming the refs tonight. You can't tell me that the refs won't at least be a little more hesitant to give their stars such leeway with a public calling out like that.

Calling out the refs in the media isnt some ground breaking idea.  It's been done before.  Nothing changes.

Celts still playing hard
It definitely shows a lot about these guys and the team culture

Good to see

Stevens doesn't overreact when they are up or down. Its why the team is able to make so many of these late game runs.

I agree, when the coach gets flustered the players gets flustered.

Yeah.  The Celts are who we thought they were, as it turns out.  In the same category as the '04 Celts, 2013 Bucks, 2009 Pistons, etc.

Why do some people feel the need to ruin my ridiculous expectations with their rational beliefs?

Haha
I trust Danny Ainge

down by 11 with a free throw coming up.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

  • GOT IT!!!
Ainge has to go out and get a true center this off-season. Luckily there will be plenty on the open market to do so.

I think you have a different definition of blowout than most people.  C's still within 10 right now

Is this the quietest crowd in playoff history?

Well it's probably a good thing I'm not a coach, because I'd probably be Bobby Knighting chairs onto the floor by now lol
