Pierce 1,000 and 'Toine 5,000? Is Scal 34,000+?

But seriously, Pierce should be the exception to the active players.

And why is Shaq ahead of Doc?

The active players are kept together.  Doc is between the starters and the bench.

Yea I don't quite understand the 1000 for Pierce and the 5000 for Toine... Can we have a revote or something?

No.  There are the active players, and the departed players.  If you changed Pierce, wouldn't you have to move KG and Ray, too?  The current team is going to be kept together.

The only way Pierce is moving up is if he leaves the Celtics, and the only way Antoine is moving down is if he rejoins them.

It just seems like a very strange way to assign the groups. It seems logical to me that the more posts you have the higher rank you should receive. I mean you receive more stars, so it would make sense to obtain a higher, more prestigious title.

Eh...  Most members of the blogs will never get much more than 1000 posts, so we give everybody a chance to be one of the current players.  When people post enough to get their first star, they're rewarded with a Celtic superstar (Paul Pierce), rather than a role player.  It's the system that has been in place for several years now, and I don't think we'll change it.

If it makes you feel better, think about it as two separate lists, one for 0 through 1000, and another for 2000 through 33,000.

Already done, about a week ago. Good thing I didn't do one for David West, like I had wanted to.  :D
