S&T BBD
Quis TPE
2011 1st, 2nd
2012 2nd
2013 2nd (own)
Cash

for

Terrence Williams
Jordan Hill

Hill has been a bust and terrence williams is out of their rotation/future ? indefinitely, could work since they have scola and patterson, BBD is better than Hill and could play some 5, twill might be had for cheap, and we can offer them Cash if they like to buy some other pick.

if hill is a bust and  williams can't get off the bench why would we trade the best player in the trade plus a three picks for that package?

hill is a bust considering he was a lottery pick but i didn't say he is bad, twill have issues with their coach and had tweeted he wanted to be traded to boston..

i don't think our 1st pick in 2011, and three 2nd picks and cash is overpaying, plus BBD resigned will make it hard to get Howard.

Wow.  Imagine what the Celtics would have to give up for non-bust, rotational players.

Giant overpayment

Wow, what a terrible trade. :o

The OP must really dislike Davis to give him up plus picks for two lesser players. ::)

Why would Detroit do that?  Monroe is their only big with some size.  Do they really want another short PF?

???

Kwame was a HS kid that never developed any offense but is above average defensively.

Monroe went to Georgetown.  He is good offensively (not an offensive star) that needs to learn NBA defense.

And yes, he likely will be better then Davis.

Which begs the question, why would Detroit trade him for another short PF?

can't argue with the talent exchange but if I'm moving my one young, reliably healthy big man, then I want some size coming back rather than a SG.

Also, Mayo won't be starting while Ray in here so that boils down to just getting bench help.  Resigning West and Wafer is a pretty good and more-affordable move.  Neither is the scorer that Mayo is but they bring scoring and hustle off the bench while allowing us to move a PF for hopefully a different (better) 4/5 player.

Essentially, acquiring Mayo after this year requires committing to him as the starting SG one year later and moving Ray (either to the bench or to another team)

S&T for Camby who would be on the final year of his contract.

This keep us in good shape for 2012.
