Good. Tatum sitting on the bench. Maybe that'll be a wake-up call to him.

easy to pick on Tatum why not bench Heyward,

It's easy to pick on Tatum because he's been worse. Not rocket science

after missing another wide open shot, I think that benching both of them may be the way to go

Hayward plays within the team's offense. Tatum disrupts it with his ill-advised mid range jumpers.

I predict Stevens hands this team their ass at halftime and they roar back to win this.

Yeah, about that...

The Celtics had a VERY short stay in the locker room at halftime. In fact, they were out so early that they had to wait a few mins for a youth basketball game to end.

Most of the Celtics are out and ready to start shooting with eight minutes left in halftime. The kids’ scrimmage on the court is still going on.
So just because they were out fast means Stevens didn't dress them down?

Pitiful miss by Hayward.  Wide open.

Ha, yep. Not a bad move at all. Marcus x2 could slide in nicely IMO

Either one day this team will turn it on and figure it out or this is going to be an all year battle. I mean they just have too much talent to be this bad

His shot selection has been awful. Too much midrange. Needs to be in the paint or behind the arc only. At least with Hayward, he's a good and willing passer and he won't force shots.

Hayward has been bad. He also has a pretty legit excuse, and we all knew it would be slow starting off with him. Also, while Hayward hasn't been great defensively, he's at least been giving effort, which I'm not sure that I can say the same about Tatum, who has definitely let his offensive struggles get to his head on the other end.

I still say Hayward could benefit from a stint in the G League (not as a punitive thing but as a rehab thing), but nobody seemed to like that idea in the other thread.  :)

Lol I was thinking the same thing. Canaan's injury was 3.5 months later than Hayward and he came back before Hayward. I know we took it slow with Hayward and every body is different, but that just seems unfair lol
