Somewhere along the line, this team will hit its stride offensively.

once hayward gets into shape and makes his shots, this team will be terrific.

If smart didn't make that play, we go to OT OR maybe we lose

Detroit made the 3

yeah that extra effort wins the game.

thats what they paid him for ....he makes the difficult plays work in his teams favor.

If someone could post a two-paragraph game report will get a TP from me!

Why do I feel Kyrie was kidding when he mentioned Tommy's comment.

Pretty sure he was kidding. Nobody would be dumb enough to pick a fight with the Legendary Tommy here in Boston!

The only undefeated team in the NBA is up next for us. I wonder who will start off on Giannis. Jaylen? Bucks are on fire to start the season, and they gave us a heck of a battle last year in the playoffs.

Kyrie looked like Kyrie.

Gordon looks like he's gain some of his fluidity back.

I'm getting excited.

And put Hayward on Middleton? I think that's not a bad option. Keep Tatum on their least threatening wing player in Brogdon, and let Al deal with Lopez

I also think that they are a worse matchup for us than Philly.  I actually fear the Bucks more, we have Philly's number.   But last year we did not have Hayward or Kyrie, either.

Go Celtics.

All 5 starters ranged from 9-16 shots, 4-6 rebounds, and 3-5 assists.  Great balance!

I went to the game last night, and all I can say is, I want my money back.

The game wasn't about the Celtics, and it wasn't about the Pistons. The refs made it about themselves. They. Blew. The. Freaking. Whistle. Every. Thirty. Seconds. There was no rhythm to the game and it wasn't fun to watch. There was little to no contact on many of those fouls. I'm not sure what the refs were told before the game, but they simply couldn't keep the whistles out of their mouths.

If the Celtics had just played poorly, that would have been one thing. But they looked, for the most part, fine. Rather, nobody could get anything going because the refs felt the constant need to stop the game.

Yeah that series with the Bucks last year was tense.  They along with Toronto are the two teams I am most worried about for the C's this year in the east.
