I was switching back and forth from Sox game to the DVR. Celtics look awful. Wannamaker is terrible. Nobody can make a shot. I hope Smart isn't suspended after the ruckus. They aren't even in the same league as the Lebron-less Cavs. I hope this is just a trick to make all teams feel confident for when we actually start playing. Sixers are dominating the preseason and we are totally lost even Tatum can't hit a shot. I can't watch anymore unfortunately - delete- was hoping to see some Robert Williams but I can't take this pain anymore.

Semi just dribbled directly towards a stationary Cavs player and lost the dribble.  Not sure what that was about.

Wannamaker, and Yabu are terrible. Lemon can play, he should definitely make this team.

I feel like all the Celtics realize they'll have to defer to Kyrie on offense.

With Hayward, not himself yet... there may be a few players auditioning for the available second banana role.

Another awful performance.  Basically an unwatchable game.  I haven’t seen this from a BS team since he has been here.

Williams with another good block.
He might actually be in contention for some minutes in 2018 (as in early season). Lots of folks thought he was destined for Maine, but he can play.

well I missed the 2nd half with a meeting, but it sounds like we looked just as bad.
I don't mind experimenting in the preseason, but what I want to see is at least some effort and seriousness about playing well.   Tatum and Brown especially...Brown has been better in preseason than Tatum.  JT has gotten burned a lot on D and hasn't gotten been very good shooting the ball either.

and yes I know it probably doesn't matter...

Wannamaker and semi are bums.  I have Lemon on the big team full time, but the entire team sucked this whole pre-season.

Another winning performance by our preanointed champs.

horrible game and effort.  can't understand the need to rush the team into games with minimal practice time and these games seem to provide a solid reason why practice should come before any games are played.

Al looked ok but the rest of the team was hot garbage.

I'm a bit annoyed at how tentative they look. They all look like they are over-thinking every move, every cut, and every shot. They look a step slow and indecisive as a result.

But that is par for the course under Coach Brad Stevens in the early season. They are trying to keep up with his mind. They are learning how to play the game at a high level. They are un-teaching bad habits and teaching championship habits.

That takes time. I do like how much Tatum and Brown are shooting. I think this team will be at its best behind those two and Kyrie, with Hayward and Horford facilitating.

Not worried about the outcome of these preseason games.  We're a highly talented and young team that will need to learn how to keep the pedal on the gas.  But when it matters most, I'd bet all my TPs that we'll punch our ticket to the Finals.

Also a huge fan of Smart's action towards JR Smith.  He was there for all our battles with CLE and witness to JR injuring Crowder.  Every championship team has one or two dirt dogs that will back up their teammates, and Smart "swears on his mama" that he'll back up that gesture intended for JR as he got booted.

Smart was born for the NBA of the 80s and early 90s.
