Sheesh, the Lakers are just really that good now. 7-0 on the road, their best start on the road in franchise history.

Clippers choked a 22point lead
NBA teams giving up 20+ point leads happen very often in NBA games. I used to think giving away a 20+ point lead was choking, but not anymore. It's too common an occurrence now. The expansion of the three point game has allowed 20 point leads to be closed very quickly. I now look at such things as simply a shift in emotion, just an extra long run.

Yes, the game has changed. Big leads are not what they were.

All these 3s have changed that. Not just making 3s but teams that are missing 3s. You get big swings especially if both happen at the same time (one team making, one team missing).
Gives us a more exciting product to watch tbh, we never know which team is going to win until the very end nowadays.
Not for me. It makes stages of the games more meaningless and boring as a result. Less intensity. Less urgency. Games are more wild and disheveled. None of these consequences are entertaining for me.
Hm I think the tradeoff is worth it - it's not like the early stages of games have become boring to watch and the potential of games going down to the wire more often is very appealing to me.

Boucher is killing it for the Raps! 25 points and 10 rebs tonight against the Hornets on 8-12 from the floor and 2-4 from 3pt range. Would love us to somehow trade for him. Problem is, it wouldn't be easy to pry him away from the Raps.

3 first rounders and 3 swaps lol.
He’s 28 this is his peak ... maybe Toronto would sell high now? But price would be steep

They're 3-3 at home. How is that not just as relevant?

Look at who they've played. Their last 9 games, not a single likely playoff team among them.

If I remember correctly, Roizer was always a much better player playing at home so maybe no fans iseffecting him in a positive way.

don’t know why rozier wasn’t a fan of Hayward. I bet spacing provided by Hayward’s presence, as well as Hayward’s passing is giving rozier a boost in Charlotte

And Rozier's off-ball game as well as spacing is helping Hayward quite a bit as well - it goes both ways.

Took a peek at the standings. It seems things are starting to even out a bit. Obviously the seeding order will change a ton throughout the season, but the Top-5 teams currently are BKN, PHI, BOS, MIL, IND.

The only real surprises are Miami and Toronto and how they've started.  Not to say I expected Toronto to be a contender, but I expected they'd be a 6-8 seed. But there's a lot of teams cluttered around there currently and I expect a few to drop, with Miami overtaking one. It'll probably be a fun battle to see who gets the 7 and 8 seeds as we could see a handful of teams fighting for it (including Hayward's Hornets).

Four teams will be playing in for those 7/8 seeds spots in the playoffs .. most likely Toronto will clinch one of those with their playoff experience
