Wanamaker has really stepped up and made the most of his minutes. He has become a real steadying influence on the team. Am particularly impressed with his hands and positioning on defense. This road trip has been good for the development of our bench as a force. Once Hayward returns, a bench consisting of Smart, G and R Williams, and Wanamaker should be able to continue the defensive intensity provided by our starters.
Nice win. Especially after that craptastic 1st quarter. To play that poorly and still come out of the quarter with lead made me feel pretty solid about their chances for the game. Thought Wanamaker (who drives me nuts sometimes) played a really good game.

I too am impressed with what I have seen. At first, I was worried he would be stealing time from others who are more valuable but I was definitely wrong. So very important to have bench players that resemble glue with the other unit.

Couldn't watch the game, but glad we won! Also, Theis with 0 points and 11 rebounds lol. I'll take it, but that's got to be a pretty rare stat I feel, right?

Thanks Salt! tphe now has the perfect excuse for load managementI think Smart would rather die than be load managed. Like the story about KG refusing to sit out a practice for rest, so Doc had to end it right after it started insteadSmart has that same KG mentality
