My co-worker, who got let go about 6 months ago, actually went to a Bill Russell basketball camp when he was a kid.  He met Bill & Red too back then, and idolized Russell.  He knew that I am a lifelong Celtic fan, so when he cleaned out his attic a year or so ago he gave me an autographed Larry book, and several Sports Illustrated with Russell on them.  I always keep this one handy:



As well as the one where Russell announced his retirement.  Awesome memorabilia to look through :)

There are sooooo many photo's that I want to share, but, this is one of my favorites


This was in 2008, we were playing against Houston, and after a big run in the fourth, Garnett went mental.  There was just something about this photo...I guess, it showed me that he embraced the Celtics, and everything that Celtics basketball was about. 

Another obvious one is Pierce when they raised the banner, watching that made the hairs on my neck stand up....truly inspiring.

Man, I cannot wait until next year, where I will be finally making the trek from Australia to Boston to watch a Celtics game!!  It's something that I wanted to at least say I've done once! :-D

Use your imagination and see this imaginary image! Picture me sitting with my laptop following in the chat room,  in front of a tv screen for almost every celtic game for the past few years.  I only do things that I love.  I love the Celtics.  That is my expression of fanhood, or fandom.

It doesn't matter if I get back my Tommy Points...I am going to wager all that I have on a sure bet again this year.  #18.  Go Celts!
