Hey,

I have 24 bucks left on an iTunes gift card and can't decide what I want to do with it. I like just about anything, as shown by my recently played songs list, including Jack's Mannequin, John Legend, Boston, Queen, Warren G, 2pac, Fastball, Heart, The Who, Jamie Cullum, and freakin' Hootie and the Blowfish. I hate country, but am down for anything else.

Anything come out recently in the alt rock, classic rock, regular rock, R&B, or rap scene that is absolutely must have? Read the Lupe Fiasco thread, and picked up a couple songs there... Or does anyone have particular favorite songs/bands to recommend for purchase?

Helpful and/or heeded suggestions will lead to Tommy Points.
"Let me call him," Floyd said.

The man shook his head. "O.J. doesn't give out his cell," he said. "He'll call you."

Save it until something comes up. Cuz the second you buy something you only kinda want an album will come out you'll want. But I shouldn't be talkin cuz i can never let my itunes money sit there either.

I've been listening to Neutral Milk Hotel's "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea" a lot lately.  It's definitely not for everyone, but if you're into obscure lyrics and experimental alternative, it's a good listen.  It's definitely *not* a mainstream album.  (If you only download one song, Two Headed Boy is recommended).
