Can somebody tell me in what way the Pacers are a worse basketball team than the Celtics?

I'm having trouble thinking of it right now.

Rebounding?  Nope.
Defense?  Nope.
Size?  Nope.
Composure?  Well . . . based on that fourth quarter . . . Nope.
Scoring options?  Naw.
Depth?  Nope.

Somebody help me out here.
scoring options. bench.

Scoring options:
Granger, George, Hibbert, Collison, West . . . eh.  They don't have anybody who is as good an individual option as Pierce, but overall I'd say they have as potent an overall offense as we do.  They have much more balance, and they can actually score inside.

Bench:
George Hill, Tyler Hansbrough . . . eh, I'm not so sure.

Pos - terrible game by BOS, but it's just one game.

It's part of a growing trend so far this season, though . . . the Celtics have played just a cut below every good opponent they've faced at this point.

One of those nights for the Celtics. Oh well.

As for the Pacers, I thought it was a fairly uninspiring effort from them. Not impressed by where they are (currently) but they'll be a team to watch throughout the year because Paul George could (should?) continue to grow throughout the year and as he does so too does the Pacers playoff hopes.

Well, at least this team can still play defense (if you don't count blocking out as a part of it).

Agreed.  We actually played very good defense for a good portion of the fourth quarter but we just couldn't take advantage

absolutely horrible game.  no rebounding, no shooting, no one smart enough to drive to the basket to at least get to the line.

absolutely horrible

I think EVERY team has played a cut below this season so far.

OKC lost two in a row this week.

LA is struggling.

DAL struggling.

MEM is without ZBo for next couple of months.

NY looks vulnerable.

MIA's beatup.

SAS may be done - no Manu for 2 months.

BOS? If we are playing like this in Mar then I'll be concerned. I only checked in about 30 min ago, and judging by the box score I'm happy for that :-[.

Terrible game, but hey I saw the Original Big Three have stinkers, too.

inexcusable rondo. this is why ainge is always shopping him

yes.  trying to come back in the 4th quarter of a relatively close game is when you look to your main man to make things happen, yet that's the time in the game when Rondo tends to slow down the pace and disappear offensively.
Rondo makes ill-advised drives to the basket, resulting in having his shot blocked or effectively altered a majority of the time. He slows the pace, even when we are down by 10 late in the game...

I'm sure Larry is telling his squad that the Real Boston Celtics didn't play tonight. There is no way that he holds his head up too much even after Indy got this one.

He knows that it's a long season, and this is just one game.

Please post this in the "Rondo will never be a good free throw shooter" thread. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Unfortunately I can't take anything you say seriously. You're a bandwagoner who follows Shaq around the NBA. I remember seeing you post on realcavsfans.com when Shaq was a Cav and as soon as he was acquired by the Celtics you started posting over here ::)

Shaq is no longer a Celtic. I fail to see why you're still here.

Yep I'm a bandwagon fan! You feel better? I'm not going to go back and fourth with you. I don't need your approval! Good luck with that!

if you think about it we all are bandwagon fans. I jumped C's because of Paul Pierce in 2002. I'm sure everyone has story as to when they became Celtics and why.
