Think I got my Regular Season Rotation Down.

Jeremy Lin (30) / Jason Kidd (18)
JR Smith (30) / Jason Kidd (7) / Jared Dudley (11)
Jared Dudley (24) / Shane Battier (24)
Kevin Garnett (30) / Chris Kaman (7) / Epke Udoh (11)
Tim Duncan (30) / Chris Kaman (18)

Positions can get a little shuffled but those are the minutes you're looking at.
I love the front court but question the addition of Kaman as TD and KG really aren't playing too much PF at the moment. I could see some problems with fast, athletic, perimeter PFs and how this team would cope with them. Bron, Melo, Smith, Love, etc will go bonkers as soon as your rotation goes TD and Kaman. I thought a more traditional PF would have worked better as an addition.

I like the Battier/Dudley platoon probably a lot more than most but the back court is just...yuck. If Lin isn't brilliant or Smith not going 6 for 9 from long range without somehow disrupting everyone else's rhythm every night, then you ain't winning a lot of games in this league.

Still would pay money every night to watch this team for the entertainment value alone.

- First, how good would the KG/TD front court defense be by mid season going into the playoffs? Wow!

- How long before KG just clocks Smith after taking yet another 28 footer with 18 seconds left on the shot clock?

- Just how fast could a brilliant kid like Lin learn from two of the best player role models you would ever want to be around? Could their influence over a year transform Lin into something more?

- Dudley, Battier, TD, KG, Kaman, Udoh, Lin, Kidd. They're just a bunch of seemingly decent and good guys to cheer for. It would be easy to fall in love with this team, win or lose.

- Besides you are the Celtics!!

Wow. Thanks for all the feedback, Nick. That's awesome.

Ya, footspeed with Kaman was a bit of a concern when I drafted him. The idea on getting him was to be able to keep pounding in the post, particularly during the regular season when you're only looking for 25-30 minutes out of Duncan & KG. Ideally, his minutes with Duncan are minimal and he's either playing alongside KG or Udoh.

There's two specific power forwards I'm looking at today that could really help my cause, also.

As far as the back court, I keep thinking about those great mid 90's Kings teams. I just think there's something to be said about what you're asking the players to do. And really, that's make sure that every single possession has the ball going into either Duncan or Garnett in the post.

Oh, right. Got lost in my own brilliance there. Apologies.

It means my 3/4 rotations look like this:

Barnes
Anderson

Harris
Anderson

Barnes
Harris

Ellington
Harris

It means that my forward will always have a offensive mismatch, and that I'll maintain spacing, especially against second units. Thomas/Ellington/Harris mean that even when my starters rest, production should persist. Not world beaters or anything, but I think it means I'm pretty smart and awesome.

In most lineups, if you're playing Harris at the 3 next to like, Reggie Evans, he's not nearly as productive. You can't help off my guys.

I really think this is why SO and I lost last year, because neither of us could be bothered to give an in-depth analysis of why Carlos Delfino and Devin Harris were awesome.

That'd be because people don't actually think about how impressive a good 4 & 5 is. I've lost in the second round in the past two years here were the teams:

Horford
LMA / Collison
Gay / Delfino
TA / M. Brooks
Lowry / D. Harris

WAIT FOR IT!!!! Year Before

M. Gasol / Frye
Z-Bo / Hayes
Gay / Ariza
P. George / C. Lee
T. Parker  / J. Teague / Kemba

Obviously Mayo, George and Vucevic is the trio you are hanging your hat on, but now I think you need a starting PG, and PF.  I don't think Hinrich or Odom are starting caliber players anymore

Just want to say Deron Williams has been money since the ASG.

22.8 PPG 8.4 APG 45.1%FG% 51.5 3PT% 88.5% FT% in 5 games while playing the exact same MPG as he has been averaging all year. Also, he hit the game winner the other night.

PG: Jrue Holiday (34) Jamal Crawford (10) Alexey Shved (4)
SG: Keith Bogans (16) Alexey Shved (12) Jamal Crawford (20)
SF: Kevin Durant (38) Mickael Gelabale (6), FA (4)
PF: Josh Smith (34) Jason Thompson (14)
C: Kendrick Perkins (24) Jason Thompson (14), FA (10)

Going after a big with 9.28
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

Looks like the rest and the cortisone has helped.

SUNS Pick 2: Coach: Doug Collins
PG: Goran Dragic(7.5) CJ Watson(.992)
SG: Dwyane Wade(17.1) Dion Waiters(3.72)
SF: Kawhi Leonard(1.88) Kyle Singler(1.00)
PF: Gerald Wallace(9.88) Kris Humphries(12)
C: Marcin Gortat(7.25) Marcus Camby(4.59)
Cap used: 65.91 Total: 70.3
Feedback on the suns please and thank you!

Wallace at PF could get pushed around on defense but is a big mismatch on offense especially in transition. Starting 5 is still solid.

Bench could be worse but the reserve frontcourt is a huge question mark. Waiters won't get as many minutes as he needs though. Interesting to see how he does with less mninutes.

Co-sign.

Hinrich and Jameer are walking injury reports these days. Not sure what either will fetch on the trade market, but I'd prefer someone steady who can play 20 minutes a night and won't miss games.

Beasley could play the 4, although a facilitator-glue guy like Odom (but younger) is probably better for your starting lineup.

I think that is a really good idea.

I would start Beasley and use Odom as a PF/C off the bench with T.Robinson and M.Leonard in third string PF and C roles respectively.

I reckon Beasley > Odom at the PF position nowadays.
