From Boston.com:

Chicago police are trying to determine whether a shooting that left one man dead and another in critical condition was related to a birthday bash for former Celtic Antoine Walker. The party marking 'Toine's 32d birthday was held Sunday at a club called Excalibur, and the shooting took place about a block away at the Rock 'n' Roll McDonald's. According to the Chicago Tribune, Walker's mother, Diane, was at the party, and has told police there were no problems. But authorities are investigating whether the shooting stemmed from a fight that originated at Excalibur. Walker, who plays for the Grizzlies now, was the victim of a home invasion last year.

Doesn't appear that that shooting had anything to do with Toine.  And why can't he have a birthday party? ::)  Are you the same person who started this same thread for Pierce? :-\

nah, but he was one of us pointing out how ridiculous that thread is. I assume this is satire from CDF :)

I've got it on good authority that Antoine had nothing to do with the shooting as he was back at Excaliber eating his 6th slice of birthday cake and having yet another beer. After all he is in training and has to keep that calorie intake up.

Kinda like Michael Phelps, without all that pesky swimming.

LOL, exactly Roy. Or without any of that pesky running, stretching, weightlifting, or basketball playing.

I wonder if Antoine realizes this will be the last year that he makes seriously good money playing basketball for the rest of his life?

He's playing for his next contract so it should be interesting to see what type of shape he goes to in camp.

Give the guy a break, Roy.

He'll go on a diet after he forces a buyout.

Man, we love to crap on players once they exit huh? Antoine loved Boston and wanted to stay here. He played hard, showed heart and was a good leader...

Why is there so much hate on CB towards him? Are we that smug a sports fan now?

Yes its true, Antione has a no place on this team anymore...

He might be as productive as BBD and Powe coming off the bench but at the veteran minimum, he'd be more expensive and much older. Doesn't make sense for this club.

I will say this though, I wish him the best and would welcome him back to Boston if Ainge saw a fit.
