My propose 3 team deal:
Boston get Rudy Gobert & Victor Oladipo

Utah gets Myles Turner & Jeremy Lamb

Indy gets Gordon Hayward, Enes Kanter & Carsen Edwards

Works in trade machine..I know I get blasted for this but I kind of like it..maybe throw picks around also
Starters:
Gobert
Tatum
Brown
Oladipo
Walker
Reserves:
Theis
Smart
TimeLord
Williams
Plus draft picks
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

The problem, as per usual with many trade ideas with Indy or Utah, is that it lacks forsight for cap problems.

The benefit of getting Myles Turner is that he is locked into a 18m contract for the next several years. Gobert would be at 26 million next year and is rumored to want another long-term max after that.

This trade puts the Cs 7m over the luxury tax this season, plus whatever their draft picks sign for. There is likely no possible way they can keep both Oladipo and Gobert past this season.

I'm a pretty big fan of both Oladipo and Gobert. I think Gobert would be an awesome player for the Cs, but I just don't see how it would to get both.

I'm out on Gobert because of how teams game plan against him and how BS runs his offense.

I'm also out on Oladipo he is pretty much Hayward at guard with the injuries but Oladipo needs the ball more to be a factor on offense. At least Hayward can fit multiple roles and doesn't demand the ball.

I'd much rather have Lamb and Turner for a lower price and the better team fit.

I'd rather just trade for Gobert.

Gobert for Smart, Theis, Poirier, 26

I think that makes a bit more sense for Utah anyway.

Maybe you still move Hayward to Indiana in a separate trade

Oladipo, McConnell for Hayward, 14

Team Post Trades

PG - Walker, McConnell, Wanamaker
SG - Oladipo, Langford, Edwards
SF - Brown, Semi
PF - Tatum, R. Williams, G. Williams
C - Gobert, Kanter

2 open spots and 2 TW to split between Taxpayer MLE, 30, Green, Fall, Waters

That team has a much better chance of winning a title next season and then you figure out what to do with Oladipo and Gobert the following summer.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I’m all for bringing on Gobert (and additionally Oladipo) but and offer of Hayward, Kanter and Edwards is hardly enough for one of them, let alone both.

That said:

Boston sends Hayward, Langford, Kanter, RWilliams, Edwards, all three 2020 firsts
.
Receives Gobert and Oladipo

Utah sends Gobert

Receives: Turner, Kanter,  Langford, two 2020 firsts

Indy sends Turner and Oladipo

Receives: Hayward, Edwards, RWilliams and  first.

Many problems here, I’m not really sure why Utah or Indy do it.

Wed have to give Gobert, Oladipo, and Tatum extensions. Gobert is up for a super max, Tatum will be maxed, and Oladipo will look for it.

It just doesn’t work financially for us.

No way for me on Gobert. Not with Brad here. The offense was horrid vs a zone defense . It only looked good with a healthy Hayward due to his high iq. I don’t wanna see a Brad offense playing 4 on 5 again when Smart was really bad on offense.
