About 25+ games in my first season of my player. Waas getting way to easy blowin everyone out by 30+ Bumped my difficulty up to HOF and still killin em.
Averaging 30p 6a 2s have not lost a game since my trade.
Only difference in difficulty is that you cant just freestyle it. You have to take your time and call set plays to score.
Also you shot seems to get blocked much more. But creating space fixes that easily.
I LOVE THIS GAME!
Heard the ROY achievement is glitched. It wont unlock if you win the MVP and ROY (which I am on pace to do).
assassin, you are a god at playing this game!! o_O those are some crazy numbers!
i've finally finished all that summer circuit and i got drafted by the Grizzlies (25th overall). 3 games in, i'm only averaging a B teammate grade we have a record of 1-2 and i'm comin off the bench and for some reason, Lionel Hollins likes to play me and Conley together even though i'm a PG. that dude is the worst PG ever! lol, i exaggerate. but i want to request a trade after the 5th game but the only team interested in me are the Heat. i'll die of egos there! haha!
how the heck do you average such great numbers? am i not playing the game right? I'm averaging about 6-2-1 after 3 games and i'm playin on 6min/game. any tips to boost my overall grade? I'm a 50 overall right now

Up the minutes in the options menu. Go from 6 per quarter to 12. 12-4-2 isn't bad.
My player has already been traded three times. I kind of felt like making him a headcase.
Got drafted by the Wiz, didn't like playing PG with Arenas, Wall and Hinrich. Got traded to the Pacers, they sucked so i wanted another trade and ended up with the Jazz.. they were the 3rd seed before they got me and then went on a huge slide. Always played me at off-guard with Deron Williams, too. Extremely annoying.
I'm with Golden State now, starting PG with Curry off then bench. working on the 7th seed right now.
Averaging 18 points and 7 assists.. Not bad for a three point specialist... And seriously, my guy does not miss midrange or threes. I put Ray Allen's jumpshot on and it's been butter ever since.
As a big man, Melo or Dirk's jumper is butter, if you're playing a 3 or 4.
Here is my approach:
1) Go big, and all-around (you basically only lose quickness, vertical, and speed, but gain a good foundation)
2) BEFORE you do any drills, use up your 10,000 skill points, preferably on the expensive skills...probably the ones you're not originally good at. For me as an all-around SF, I bumped my 3pt and speed. (there is a trend here) Buying them while they're cheap maximizes their value. If you wait, you'll pay more assuming you upgrade the skills you want through drills
3) Do the drills before any game, and repeat them until you get the bonuses you want. if you're shooting, you want 3pt. If you're dribble course, you want speed, etc.
4) Use the skills points you got through the drills to bump layup and maybe dunk (but I wait for dunk)
5) In the games, learn to spot the defensive rebounds your team will get, and break while the shot is still in the air. You'll get 10-12 ppg easy that way, and you'll prevent falling in any cold streaks. You'll also get on hot streaks which means the midrange and 3pt shots you would normally miss (because of your 60 or so rating at this point) would go in.
6) At some point during the combine games or summer circuit, upgrade your layin, dribbling, and dunk abilities. Being able to finish at the rim is a big deal. You'll also want to up shoot in traffic.
The rest is up to you.
