Like Philadelphia did in Game 2, I imagine the Cavaliers are going to come out and try to get off to a fast start. The C's NEED to weather their runs. While the C's did make the comeback against PHI in Game 2 despite falling behind by 25, I just don't think they can do it against a Lebron-led Cavaliers team if they do fall behind by a ton early. Not when they're down 1-0 already.
As much as I despise him (as a player, not person), I think Lebron IS going to go off today. Hopefully our defense though manages to smother and contain their other threats like Love, JR, Korver though. My two biggest fears is that Thompson manages to kill us inside (with put-backs or key rebounds) AND/OR the referees take over. Thankfully we don't have Foster or Brothers reffing this game, but it wouldn't surprise me if the refs tonight call some 50/50 calls against us and start putting some of our guys in foul trouble early to benefit Lebron and co. C's have to play smart and limit the turnovers and low IQ shots.
I think Tatum will have a big game today (25-30 points). They don't have anyone who can really guard him, so Tatum will hopefully be in attack mode. Hopefully Morris has found his mojo again and gives us a solid 15-20 points too. I imagine they'll try their best to keep Horford in check and possibly Brown too, so we need Tatum, Morris, and Rozier to have big games. CLE won't shoot that poorly again, but I imagine we'll still make it tough on them, and we have to keep attacking them inside. Thompson, while still pesky, isn't the same player as 2 years ago, and Love is a horrible defender in the paint. I think we see some Monroe tonight to deal with Thompson at times, especially on the offensive end. Attack, Attack, Attack! And if they clog the inside, kick it to the open guy! Hope it's a great night with a win, Brooklyn Pick NOT landing Top-3, and Celtics acquiring the Lakers pick despite the low odds.
LETS GO C'S!!
