I hope they don't use Skyrim's leveling system. In which, attributes are entirely removed, and you can apply skill points to skills you directly level. This led to issues as you leveled higher, so I'd rather Fallout 3's form of progression is reserved.

Also glad to see this is Bethesda Game Studios and not Obsidian.

I'm so psyched for his game, which was announced today.  It's probably my favorite game series of all-time.

Same.  Did you mess around with Fallout 1 and 2 a lot?  I've put quite a few hundred hours into them throughout the years.  It's unfortunate that Bethesda strayed so far when they took over.

Have you played Wasteland 2?  It's more similar to the original turn based games.

OMG, I wish!  I read in Game Informer that it was made by the same guys.  Definitely planning on picking it up at some point.  Was actually planning on asking people in this thread if anyone had played it.

The gameplay was beyond addictive, but the writing is what put them over the top for me (and no, I'm obviously not talking about the scripts  ;D).  The dialouge and the sense of humor absolutely killed me.

  • You ain't the boss of the freakin' bedclothes.
I keep on playing the game, but its starting to wear on me. I get bored a lot faster, and I still haven't finished the main quest (but I did get to the "twist").

I am very excited about the DLC's, and I'm kicking myself for not buying the season pass for $30 a month ago.
