Rubio has been statistically one of the worst PG's in the entire NBA this year.
That seems a bit harsh for the guy with the most steals in the league and the third most assists.  He is a way above average rebounder from the position at 4.5 a game. He is also 34.7% from three point range and 81.4% from the line.  He has been awful from 2 point range though.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I don't think Rubio is a terrible player by any means and I should have said "starting PG".  Obviously there are any number of backup PG's far worse.

That said, offensively, a PER of 15 and averages of 8.8 PPG on 36% FG is pretty bad for a starting PG. He only attempts 3 free throws per game, so his high FT% is not too meaningful.  Neither is his 3P% (1.6 attempts per game).  He is a good passer and rebounder.  He also plays passing lanes well, but is otherwise pretty ineffective on defense.

Statistically, he's pretty poor, overall.  Certainly never lived up to the initial hype.

Having Kevin Love is really nice though.  Not as if Minny's GM should be bumming.  There's plenty to work with there.

New Orleans is looking to move up into the 2nd round from the 3rd round. If interested PM me. Thinking something like my 3.11 and 5.11 for a 2nd and a 7th.

Was listening to the latest BS Report and Simmons had Zach Lowe on. They were both going over their MVP list to this point and both had Noah in their top-5.

What he has done this year has been remarkable. Three games since Jan 1 of 10+ assists and has also replaced Garnett as the best perimeter defending big IMO.

Also must be in consideration for DPOY.

When Rose comes back they're going to be a tough out for Miami or Indiana.

Been doing a mock draft based on no trades and looks like most teams will be 4 very good to excellent players deep with just a 20 team league.

Is Rose actually going to come back this year?  I was under the impression he was done for the season (again).

which also shows just how much talent is truly in the league today.  It is drafts like this that I use all the time to demonstrate with actual evidence just how much better the league is today than any other time in history.

I'm sorry but the eye test makes it obvious that the golden age of basketball coincided perfectly with when I was young.  Just like society  ;)

I'm suppose to be studying for a midterm, but all I can seem to do is mock draft the first round and see if its worth it to move back in the first round.

Also, if anybody is going to be available around 2:30, Rondoallaturca has asked if somebody can take his list and make his selection.

I'll be in class and unable to get online.
