TP FLCeltsFan!

LETS GO C’s!!  ;D

Hopefully the two days off helped this team and they’ve made adjustments from Game 2. That was a brutal stretch in the 3rd quarter of that game and Kyrie + others were awful on offense. We saw Milwaukee bounce back after a blowout, and now it’s our turn to do it at home.

Man it feels like it’s been forever since the C’s have played at TD Garden. I expect an energetic crowd and a great performance by the team after recent events (Hondo’s passing + Ainge). We stole one at MIL. Now time to protect home court!

You are right, it has. More than 2 weeks man. Hope the crowd can give the C's the spark they need.

Let's go Celts!! We can do this. Kyrie to hit a few shots early. Need somebody to slow down Middleton. Who is really afraid of Deer? Let's make Bledsoe a Deer in headlights.

hoping to see a major effort right on the opening tip from the C's.  show the Bucks the team the played in game 1 is the real C's, not the team that played in game 2.

TP for another great thread FL!

I can't believe I even have to ask this (screw the NBA)... but, do we know who the refs are for tonight?

Mauer is very fair.  Don't like Fitzgerald. Not sure about Tony's rep.

Do they have reputation for calling it close or letting them play? If they let us play physical with GA (like game 1), we will be in great shape. If not (like game 2), we will have problems.

In the few games I've seen Fitzgerald he's always called really soft nonsense. Hopefully Mauer keeps him in line

Official Report
The lead official, Ken Mauer, can be good or bad depending on the game.   Mauer is known to carry grudges and often calls games with an agenda.  He is quick to call technicals and one time he called 5 techs in 10 seconds in a Wolves game. However,  he is more likely to let them play rather than call a lot of ticky tack fouls.   His home W/L record this season was 35-29.  The Celtics are 6-4 in their last 10 games with Mauer while the Bucks are 5-5 in their last 10.

Kane Fitzgerald - Fitzgerald has been involved in some bad officiating in the past.  As with all refs, though, he can be good or bad depending on the game.  As with Mauer, he is quick to give technicals.  He is the only referee to ever eject LeBron from a game.  He gave KG a very quick pair of technicals (from about 30 feet away) and tossed him in the 2nd quarter a Celtics game vs the Knicks.   His quickness in giving technicals dates back to his days in the D-league where he was close to the top in calling technical fouls there as well. Players need to behave themselves when he is calling the game.  His home W/L record this season is 46-24.  Both teams are 7-3 in their last 10 games with Fitzgerald as a referee.

Tony Brown - Tony Brown has been both good and bad in the past in calling Celtics' games but mostly has been good or bad depending on the lead referee at the time.  His home W/L record this season is 40-26.  The Celtics are 8-2 in their last 10 games with Brown while the Bucks are 7-3 in their last 10.
