... I do know what men's perfect measurements are. It's the 50-40-90.
Can't go wrong with that.

Our little Kyrie is getting awfully close to those "royal" benchmarks.
.492-.410-.890 for the season

.530-.448-.921 for the 9 games February games he played in.
And even though those numbers don't mean much regarding the NBA title, I view it as KI's desire to show the efficiency he can perform under a more systemized basketball ecosystem.
I feel like he wanted to prove that (among other things) and he eventually did.
To break the aforementioned thresholds would just be the icing on the cake.
What is certain is that he is becoming more comfortable.

50-40-90 was my realistic expectation for Kyrie this season.  I truly believe that he can reach Steph Curry levels of shooting efficiency on LOWER volume.  I emphasize lower volume because people took the comment my comment out of context when the trade first happened.  To this point Kyrie is on par with Curry's last season under Mark Jackson.  Keep in mind that he's posting these numbers in a mediocre offense.

Projecting forward I can see him realistically matching 2014/15 and 2016/17 Curry.  Curry's other record setting years are probably too much to ask.  The return of Hayward should help immensely next season.

I would have expected this in his 2nd year under Brad's system.. to have him be on the fringe of this during year one would be shocking.

How many foul shots does he need to move the needle?

He needs to make his next 26 free throws.

And shoot 53% FG on normal attempts per game each of the last 19 games.

To further add to this.  C's have 19 games left and Irving averages 4.5 FTA per game.  If he finishes out the season attempting free throws at the same rate, he can only miss about 4-6 more for the rest of the season.  That would mean he has to shoot about 93%-94% from the line over the next 19 games.

If he plays 19 games, he has to make 80/85 (if he shot 79/85 he'd finish 305/339 which would put him at .899705, is normal rounding okay for this?).

If he plays 18 games, 75/80 for 94%
If he plays 17 games,  71/76 for 93%,  a lower percentage thanks to rounding.
If he plays 16 games, 67/71 for 94%

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class
