In reply to the post, The Lakers are where Davis wants to go, thus, he will go there.

The other teams are just an exercise in trade value for one year of Davis. Few GM's will be willing to get fired for losing Davis to LA. One GM, Demps, already has.

The next point of importance that is rarely discussed here. Just what the he*& is Davis' value? If he isn't going to re sign or, that eventuality is up in the air? He is worth a good, but, not amazing starter and one first round draft pick. He is worth a boatload to LA and he is worth subway change to everyone else.

Ainge has been studying Davis since he was playing high school ball in Chicago. He literally knows what Anthony had for dinner last night. If Ainge offers Tatum and no one in God's creation knows if he will except for every media dimwit looking for clicks, then Ainge knows Davis will re sign.

Assuming that Ainge will rent Davis just says that Ainge is an idiot playing in a fantasy league. He's the freaking division president of a billion dollar company. He went to college, in July of 2007, he pulled a title team out of his butt on national TV and?

If he trades Tatum? Ainge will have "traded" Markele Fultz for Anthony Davis. He's a Mormon, but, if he gets away with it? They should build him a freaking St. Danny's cathedral somewhere downtown.
