Report: Lakers close to trade for... Reggie Bullock

The Los Angles Lakers are poised to make a trade...just not that trade. According to a league source, Lakers are close to acquiring Reggie Bullock from the Pistons for Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk.

Bullock is a pretty mediocre player, but he's also probably a better shooter than anybody the Lakers have on their team.  He could be a solid addition for them as long as that pick isn't anything important.

I find it amusing that the Lakers are finally figuring out what kind of player works well with Lebron... seven months later.

Odd move, does it really make sense for them to try and get better this year and make the playoffs with AD aspirations this summer? You'd think they would want that pick as high as possible. Maybe Demps has told them they will just not trade AD there...or maybe we will hear about the AD trade being completed later in the day...

Two things I saw (from Twitter accounts Laker Film Room and Brandon Robinson - could just be fans for all I know) is that Lakers showing interest in Corey Brewer and these moves look like a team that will be looking to fill out it's roster very soon

No idea if there's anything there but I know I'll feel much better email the deadline passes and Davis is still on the Pelicans.
