Dallas should try to trade for Blake Griffin

Barnes + Powell for Blake works straight up.

Pistons get off the last 2 years of Blake's deal.

Luka + Blake + Kristaps.

That could be fun.

Dallas trying to corner the market on legendary white guy foreigners.  First Detlef, then Dirk, technically Nash (Canada)... now Luka and Zinger

I assume this trade is contingent on Zinger waiving his physical?  Dude can be medically retired by the age of 28 at this pace.

One of my forgotten favorites is this guy.

Rozier, Williams, Bird plus Sac and Mem picks? Too much? Not enough?

Too much imo.

Rozier, bird, picks.

Perhaps take a bad contract if needed

Wowza is right. I wonder for whom/what besides DSmith Jr.?

I'm guessing Smith, 2019 DAL 1st Round pick, DeAndre Jordan (expiring contract) for KP and Hardaway Jr.  Haven't checked to see if this work in trade machine.  I'm assuming the Knicks want to clear cap space for free agency though.

DSJ + DeAndre (expiring) + Wes Matthews (expiring) + DAL pick for Zinger + Courtney Lee + Hardaway Jr.

Dallas doesnt have a 2019 first

We must really be dead set on AD... We could've literally destroyed that offer lol.

I think this might show the true, uninflated value of Porzingis.

I know the New York hype machine disagrees, but here is the breakdown:

Jordan and Matthews are better players than Lee and Hardaway in a vacuum, and their contracts are better than Lee's and Hardaways.

Since a mid-tier first round pick roughly costs 15 million to get off of, New York is giving up the value of two mid-tier first rounders in this deal (Zinger) to get two guys who will likely be bought out and a prospect guard (and "draft considerations").

BTW. Jordan as a buyout candidate anyone?

Kristaps went through great lengths to get Philly not to draft him. He has asked out of NY before his rookie contract is over. And he intends to take the QO after suffering one of the most debilitating, albeit recoverable, injuries for an NBA player.

I'm sorry, but this guy seems far more trouble than he's worth. If he leaves Dallas after a season, that will be a terrible trade. Smith Jr. could be very good.
